Oppa is a word used by korean females to address male older than them who they are close to (biological or not).
It's often used in a romantic relationship when a girl refers to her boyfriend (or the girl hitting on a guy) who is older/same age as her.
Oppa literally means "older brother"
The male version of this word is hyung.

Oppa is used in Korean culture by a female to a male, who is older than her by the boundary of 10 years. Female's use this title for their older brother, older male friend, or even in a flirtatious way.
