positron

An elementary particle similar to an electron, except that it has a positive charge instead of a negative charge. It is an antiparticle, which is a particle that forms antimatter. When a positron comes into contact with an electron, they annihilate each other, releasing energy.

Look, I got a jar of positrons! I think I'll open it. No, you fool!! (KABLOOOMM!!!!)

Positron

The antimatter equivalent of an electron. It has the same mass as an electron, but opposite charge (positive). Both electrons and positrons are created by photons through a process called pair production. Positrons are sometimes called "antielectrons".

When a positron and electron orbit one another, they make positronium before annihilating shortly after. A positronium atom can bond with hydrogen to make positronium hydride, or with another positronium atom to make di-positronium.
