What happens before something.

ie, "the haps" are to what happens at a party as "the prehaps" are what happens before it.

Prehaps

(see also probabry) 1. When you don't want to do something, because it sounds like it is going to be shit. 2. When a call is disputable, or just bullshit. Note: Can be used sarcastically in either of these situations.

Guy 1: Wanna go to the Edgy? its gonna go off Guy 2: Prehaps.
