Re-Boot Day

Analogous to re-booting your computer, a re-boot day is when you call in sick to re-boot your sanity. It usually involves leaving someone hanging at work that is depending on you, but your brain is so fraged you can’t function any longer.

That F'in Korbegli left me hanging today on our project. Yeah, he blue screened after the meeting yesterday and said he needed a re-boot day.

Re-Boot

when an electrical appliance / machine like a photocopier, computer / printer doesn't want to work and in a vain attempt to get the said appliance working, the user will kick (boot) the machine / appliance to try and get it to work

"the photocopier doesn't seem to be working" "here let me see if I can re-boot it"
