Skiddling

The act of goofing off or wasting time. Often, this is accompanied by the art of pretending to be busy. I.E. walking around at work with a clipboard like you're in a rush when really you're not doing anything specific.

I wasn't involved in that task, I was skiddling up and down the hangar.
