Tranq Dope is fentanyl / "dope" that has been cut with tranquilizers in order to increase potency. Typically tranq dope contains the sedatives xylazine or clonodine, in addition to fentanyl and other additives. Tranq dope is highly dangerous and harms heroin / fent users more than fentanyl by itself. Tranq dope is becoming increasingly common, and along with fentanyl is causing an alarming increase in drug overdoses. Tranq dope can be found in most major citites and may be sold as regular heroin to unsuspecting users.
