Person one: Khalid al-Mihdhar and Nawaf al-Hazmi were both trans men. They were both on testosterone and received phalloplasty in saudi arabia because it's more socially acceptable to transition than to live as gay women. That's why they attacked the twin towers.
Person two: (Holy shit not another transandrophobia truther.)
Discrimination against transgender men and transmasculine individuals is sometimes referred to as transandrophobia, anti-transmasculinity, or transmisandry. It was coined by Tumblr user saint-speaks, who defines it as "the consequences, that the fear of men and resulting gender-essentialism, cause for transgender people who identity as men or consider themselves to be aligned with the male identity, regardless of assigned sex."

"Transandrophobia," also known as transmisandry, antitransmasculinity, transgynemisia, isomisogyny, and more, describes the intersection of transphobia and misogyny targeting transmasculinity. Discussions also include the marginalization of non-hegemonic masculinity. The term was invented by Tumblr user st-dionysus (he/hymm/his) who confessed to having a detrans lesbian rape fetish.
Transandrophobia is the hatred of trans men.
Now what is it; where is it from? The people who self-identify with this word say that it is from the Old English and it has come to today meaning “bad”. That it’s the etymology of bad. And back in the day, back in the Old English Times, it used to be used as a slur against effeminate men as well as intersex people. Now, with the effeminate men, that means both gender nonconforming men as well as trans women. So, who are the people that saw this slur and decided they wanted to call themselves that?
Well, back in the early 2010’s, it was a group of trans women who were more on the radfem/lesbian separatist movement, meaning they were wlw and they did not want anything to do with men. In many cases, they didn’t want to do anything with people who did have anything to do with men. So, that sort of people. They created a sort of, typical inner clique that you would find on tumblr with a larger spectrum around them, and this inner clique eventually dissolved after some intra-community drama where essentially one of the head honchos apparently sexually assaulted another high-ranking member, and everyone defended the assaulter, and they sorta dissolved. There’s been a couple of attempts for them to come back, with the latest one being I noticed in late November of this year, 2021, and it’s mostly on twitter so.
"my friend said transandrophobia really hurt his feelings, but i reminded him it wasnt real"
It's misogyny but for the fellas.
"This trans woman was talking about misogyny but I didn't notice her talking about transandrophobia. We're really getting erased out here. We also need soap that smells like pencil shavings and is colored black."
Transandrophobia is what trans men call the emotion they experience when they see trans women getting murdered on the news and nobody is talking about trans men. Transandrophobia is the fear, disgust, and disorientation that trans men experience when they have to sit down and listen to trans women talk about anything that isn't trans men for ten minutes.
