Its a greeting word. When you give you're friends that and say "Waddup"

Another way of saying, "Hey, what up?"

You walk into class "Ayy waddup john"

This means the same as "What's up" or "How are you"

Like when you meet with friends you can greet.."Waddup dawg"

“Waddup bro” is what you say to a cool kid and they usually respond with a head nod or “waddup” back.
