Country Dictionary

Someone who refuses to either eat or wear anything derived from an animal. Not necessarily any less healthy than your typical omnivore—contrary to popular belief, you can get protein from some plants—but not necessarily any more so. Also not inherently self-righteous...but altogether too many of them are.

"You can preach veganism at me all you want...but I'm not giving up chicken strips, silk shirts, or leather boots. Get over it."

Female Fat Admirer. A variant on "FA" which leaves no doubt as to the gender of the person in question. In short, a woman who prefers BHM—although it could theoretically also mean a lesbian who prefers BBW.

"I grabbed big handfuls of his love handles and told him right out that I like guys his size. And I still don't think he realizes that I'm a FFA!"

A mythical creature resembling a reptile. Usually huge and ridiculously powerful; often flies or spits fire and/or venom out of its mouth. May be benevolent or pure evil; usually depends on what part of the world the legend is coming from. People often like to roleplay these creatures online.

"I have a plastic dragon on top of my monitor."

A stereotypical geek; i.e. one who looks like the Comic Book Guy from "The Simpsons."

"Want to go down to the game store?" "No, the owner treats everyone except his fellow fatbeards like hell."

Someone who won't eat—at very least—mammal flesh. For some reason, this usually includes people who eat poultry and seafood as well as those who are almost completely herbivorous. (Someone who is completely herbivorous is called a vegan.) Not necessarily any more healthy than an omnivore, but also not necessarily any more so. Usually less annoying than vegans, but may hassle you over getting a hamburger instead of one of those garden patties.

"My roommate is a vegetarian. Accordingly, she's developed a killer mushroom sandwich recipe."

1) A great affront. 2) To greatly affront. 3) The state of being greatly affronted. 4) Someone whose presence is a great affront.

"Why do I get shocked when I ought to be outraged?" "Some outrage made a pass at me at the bar." "What did you do?" "Told him to go fuck himself." "Good!"

Uncommon slang term. Means someone who's in favor of war, the death penalty, and birth-control-clinic bombings...but against abortion, birth control, increased funding for schools, and free daycare. Usually couldn't care less about affordable pre-natal care or maternity leave. Basically, the result of thinking that pregnancy, childbirth, and motherhood are forms of punishment rather than part of the reproductive cycle.

"He's against abortion; doesn't that make him pro-life?" "No; he supports the death penalty and says that bombing clinics is 'justified'...even if it kills women who are there for prenatal checkups. That makes him pro-lie."
