Short for “oops”, in a way. Almost like you’re cutting yourself off and all you say it’s just “oop”. This term is usually made when hearing tea or drama, or if something crazy or weird happens. Mainly used on (stan) Twitter.
ex. 1) stan: my mutual just said something problematic oop ex. 2) stan #1: i just ate a whole box of cheezits omg stan #2: oop same
An evolutionized word, starting from “weave snatched”, to “wig snatched”, to “wig flew”, and now just to “wig”, because we are lazy. It’s basically a term short for “wig flew”, “wig left”, “wig disintegrated”, “wig in orbit”, etc.
