Counterstrike

A game played by nerdy people I see in cybercafes all day. They often wear thick glasses and have faces covered with pimples, due to spending too much time on the computer and sitting in the front of the computer for too long. These type of people have no lives and need serious professional help if they can't overcome their addictions as most nerds are addicted to this game. They often talk only about this gay game and nothing more examples of their conversations include how they "owned" people, which is a nerd language commonly used by nerds and fags to make themselves feel special and cool. Everytime I hear these nerds talking about "owning" or "shooting" or how "ownage" they are I just wanna punch em in the face and break their nerdish glasses. And if I ever do break their glasses, it's for their own good anyways.

couterstrike is a game commonly played by nerds in cybercafes. It's about guns and shooting people and that's about it. It's gay and making these nerds think that they are actually cool talkin 'bout guns and shit.

No, not Counter-Strike, the wildly-popular Half-Life modification. Counterstrike. For Red Alert.

Counterstrike

A wildly popular internet team based game with two basic teams, terrorists and counter-terrorists. Contrary to popular belief, this is not a very good game, nor is it very fun. It gained great popularity because it is a free modification on the aging game Half-life and required no one to upgrade their hardware or purchase a new software. Unlike other fun games, the winners of this game are typically the players who sit quietly in one spot for hours waiting for others to walk in front of them so they can shoot them effortlessly. While this tactic may seem ridiculous, it captured the hearts of hundreds of thousands of under skilled loser gamers, making it the most popular online game by a large margin. Related terms: Gamer

Loser gamers are often quite fond of playing Counterstrike.

counterstrike

The most popular online first person shooter ever, it's a mod based on the engine of half life, and has been around quite some time now, about 6 years, the gameplay is simple in plain view, there are 2 teams that have to kill each other or complete the objectives of a map to win the round. Unlike other fps like popular fps like quake or unreal tournament, the players doesn't get respwaned after he dies, but he waits for the round to finish, and then gets respawned in the buy zone of each map. the first 30 sec are crucial, when each team tryies to get the best position on the map, tactics beeing a very important part of the game. Nowadays, people neglect counterstrike due to it's out of date graphics engine. Since source came out it made some sturr, but not as big as when it first hit the online gaming community. it's a very dificult game to master, takes years to do that. to newbies it's just boring :)

I pwned the hole team on counterstrike !

counterstrike

Counter-Strike is a popular online multiplayer game for the PC and XBOX. It was made during 1999, shortly after half-life. it uses the half-life engine, but it has been upgraded multiple times. down to the core, it still uses the half-life engine, just...sort of upgraded. it pits two teams against each other, Counter-Terrorists and Terrorists. There are different types of maps as well. The guns in the game (which you have to buy using the money you gain for killing enemies, bombing targets, rescuing hostages, winning rounds, etc) are true to life, except, when the game was made, it was made with a left handed gun view, so the right handed is actually reverse from how the gun looks in real life. the different types of maps are: es, de, as, cs, fy, surf, he. es is escape, in which terrorists have to escape, and where CTs have to kill al Ts. de is bomb, in which terrorists have to plant a bomb, and CTs defuse, as is assasination, where Cts have to protect a VIP, and Ts have to kill him, CS is hostage rescue, fy is frag yard, where you have to basically just kill everyone, surf is just...well...surfing. and he is a "grenade map". Note: most defintions here are of people who have never played CS or only played it for a short time and sucked, but in truth is a very fun game.

You, go defuse, ill take the T coming up stairs! yes, we win! that was a good round of counterstrike there...
