Expatriate - it means "immigrant" - it's a word created by white people so they don't have to call themselves "immigrants" when they leave their native country and go somewhere else.

"Nah, Jose's an Immigrant...not me..... I'm an Expat. "

Short for Expatriate - somebody who has left his or her homeland to live or work in another country, usually for a long period of time. OR my version: Expat in Dubai: constantly complaining and rude git with an ego the size of Asia. Other characteristics includes trying to live a lavish lifestyle on a meagre salary and continous road rage
