When you start to get a boner at random times for no reason.

"Dude, I am totally getting a spinoff watching the news right now." Cleveland, while chained in the basement watching a 24 hour loop of the DirectTV help channel, "Did I tell you I'm getting a spinoff?"

A product that started out as a feature of a once successful product whose market potential is exhausted, often a TV show or movie.

"Frasier" is a spinoff of "Cheers".

Angel was a spinoff of buffy. All marvel chractors are spinoffs of another, except some adam/eve charactor that hasn't been seen since 1940.

When a movie or show with traditionally white characters is rewritten to star with persons of color; ie ghostbusters 2016 or the new James Bond movie
