Toddling

Noun. A very small and unsteady toddler; the pre-toddler stage of child development, usually follows immediately after baby. Also, present tense of the verb 'to toddle.'

William was a toddling at about fifteen months before he became a toddler proper. Tom came toddling in from the kitchen, with a bottle of beer he'd just found in the fridge.
