A response to a statement, an email or text by a friend or colleague to let them know that you don't want to hear from them on the given topic, or any others for that matter. Although meant to be funny, there is a little truth in every joke. First used in conversation by Ryan E. in 1992, but then was used by Derek in 1995 in email.
Chris: Lol...we have sold $77 @ our random garage sale. In your face!
Ryan: Unsubscribe.
when you want people to remove yourself from group emails and no longer want to be part of the conversation.
