1. The informal apprenticeship of a younger male student to an older male student.

One of many proper words used by those who have researched more than just the word (does the actions fit the word?) to describe a persons title ( i.e., judge, carpenter, happy/gay person, fag/queer person. This is almost always in a conscious attempt to prove the word.
