I stopped watching the news because it's always such a downer. That movie was great until the ending. What a downer. Why does that guy always have to burden us with his problems? I mean, I hate seeming uncaring but he's such a downer.

Those stupid little fuckers on Urban Dictionary that find it necessary to put thumbs down on any good definition.

Someone who suffers from the ever popular "Syndrome of a Down". Usually sports a hideously deformed face and torso, crooked almond eyes and drools constantly. Known for ruining innocent, unsuspecting couples' lives with thier selfishness, they are generally an embarrassment to their families. They generally meander around causing unnecessary noise and offending people with their mere existence in cases where "too-nice-for-their-own-good" families have decided not to abort them or throw them to the wolves shortly after birth.

"That dude's a downer - notice the almond shaped eyes, hunched back and pulsating tongue, complete with an incessant flow of drool. Where's the shotgun?"
